Note of the authorColor Basic is a typeface inspired by the TRS-80 Color Computer. In 1980, the TRS-80 “CoCo” was released. The initial models lacked a lowercase set. They were substituted by a set of inverse capital characters, which looked like proper lowercase only when printed on paper—how bizarre. Color Basic emulates the constraints of the TRS-80’s unique character set. It includes a slew of accents and symbols, as well as a set of block elements for creating your own low-res images. Most Latin-based European writing systems are supported, including the following languages.
