Note of the authorLapiah tigo typeface merupakan suatu inisiatif yang dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan kembali motif lapiah tigo kepada generasi muda Minangkabau. Pendekatan yang dipakai adalah dengan eksplorasi bentuk fisik motif lapiah tigo secara stilisasi (penggayaan), transformasi, dan disformasi dalam pencapaian bentuk visual typeface. Perwujudan typeface ini akan menjadi alternatif tipografi baru, yaitu huruf dengan karacter budaya visual Minangkabau.
