merititalic4.ttfNote of the authorI designed Merit as part of a student project to redesign the Home Depot's brand identity (you can see this on my website, wmscottsimpsonjr.com). As such, I was trying to create a heavy slab serif that conveyed a friendliness while exhibiting a hardware kind of look. It's free for personal or commercial work, but I always appreciate donations.
